Screen Saver Beta
Try the optional modern screen-saver extension without changing the stable desktop wallpaper path.
Before enabling it
Assign at least one live wallpaper. The Screen Saver Beta uses the current per-display assignments exported by the main app.
Enable the integration
Open Settings and turn on Use VibePapers as Screen Saver. VibePapers registers the embedded extension and asks macOS to select it.
Confirmation and rollback
Activation is transactional: VibePapers confirms that macOS selected the extension. If confirmation fails, it restores the previous screen-saver setting.
Configure start behavior
Use Configure Screen Saver to choose the idle interval, or configure a Start Screen Saver Hot Corner. Start Screen Saver Now may require macOS Automation approval.
Beta boundary
The screen saver is optional and may be less reliable than the direct desktop engine. Desktop live wallpapers do not depend on it, and there is no legacy .saver installer.
